Mr. Mirek Topolanek, CEO of VAE CONTROLS Group, was a patron of the Caspian Oil & Gas Trading and Transportation Conference, which took place on April 18-19th, 2011 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Mirek Topolanek gave a presentation: Security of energy transport from the Caspian region.
During a visit he was received by Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan.

The 15- th professional seminar VAE CONTROLS, "Control technology in water supply engineering 2009" will take place in Velke Bilovice, South Moravia, the Czech Republic.
7.4. - 8.4. 2009 the 14th annual conference "New methods and procedures for the operation of sewage treatment plants" organized by VHOS was held in Moravská Třebová. The company VAE CONTROLS is a traditional general sponsor of this seminar. This year also presented lectures "New aspects in the management of sewerage and sewage treatment plant - sewerage dispatching Břeclavsko" by Ing. Jiří Kašparec (VAE CONTROLS) and Ing. Neither this years 13th International Conference Water Zlin was without the active participation of representatives of VAE CONTROLS. The lecture on "Problems of drinking water supplies in South America (Guayaquil, Ecuador)" prepared by Ing. Jiří Kašparec based on the documents by J.C. Bernal - Head of the department of drinking water supply in Guayaquil. Lecture was presented by Ing. Milan Lindovský.
Participation in an international conference "Water loss management, telemetry and SCADA in water distribution systems" in Macedonia. Presentation: "Best practices in construction of telemetry control systems" was read by ing. Jiri Kasparec / VAE CONTROLS and ing. Rostislav Rezab / VaK JC.
